Bangabandhu memorial museum

The Bangabandhu memorial museum is situated at road no. 32, Dhanmondi R/A, Dhaka, Bangladesh.This is the house of the Father of the Nation of Bangladesh, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He lived in this house and was arrested on the night of 25th March, 1971. Liberation war (মুক্তিযুদ্ধ Muktijuddho) between the then East (now Bangladesh) and West Pakistan started which lasted for 9 months. It contains rare collection of personal effects and photographs of his lifetime. This three-stored building as known as Bangabandhu Bhaban was turned in to the Bangabandhu memorial museum in year 1994.


Required Information:
Entry Fee: 5 (Five) Taka/ Person.
Weekly holyday: Wednesday.
Visiting Hour: Thursday to Tuesday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
